It's cold outside with about 8" of new snow. Not wanting to wait for a break in the weather (maybe spring), I set up a target in the house to try out the .22 caliber 2400KT. I used a 3" phone book backed by a piece of 3/4" hardwood. I set it up at 30 feet (farthest I could get). I was shooting the Crosman premier hollow points(not sure of the weight). I mounted my UTG red/green dot and let er rip! I had it rested on the box the Xmas tree came in. I was pleased :)
I fired 20 shots and had them placed one inch high aiming at the center of the target. The group was just under 1/2". I ended up getting around 45 good shots out of the 12 gram cartridge. I didn't make any adjustments to the sight. I figure it should be close to center at 25 yards. The problem was it tore through the phone book like butter and left a 1/4" dent in the hardwood behind it. I had a few flyers but all in all It shot well. Can't wait to get it outside :D

Thanks. Gonna work on a better pellet trap today. The phone book was a bit shaky. The next challenge will be to get five shots in the same hole or as close as possible at the same distance:) Evidently the time spent cleaning up and polishing the parts payed off. Might work on getting the trigger pull just a tad lighter.
