What barrel do you have?

If you are referring to my post above on the 2240 platform with the Pro-Top Valve; the pistol had the stock barrel.

I would recommend a longer barrel. I got an increase of 100 ft/sec going to the 14" barrel and no penalty. Longer sight radius too.

how does the 14 inch barell aim and point? how is the accuracy?

I like it. It feels good and improves your sight picture using the stock sights. The front post looks smaller inside the peep hole and makes it easier to line up left and right. My best group is 5/8" CTC @ 10 yds. I think that is as good as I can do with the plastic breech and stock sights.

if its anything like my old 2XXX gun with 14" barrel,it should be shooting @535fps with cphp just over 9fpe enough to rabbit at 10-15yds or closer

I agree with 1377x, I got 100 ft/sec gain and am right at 490 ft/sec with 14.3 gr pellets at 60 deg temperature. At 80-90 degrees it should increase 30-45 ft/sec. That gives right at 9 fpe which qualifies it as a pest control weapon. But at 10 yds it will shoot through 1/4" plywood no problem. I think it would be very effective on rabbits, even body shots. At least on the thin skinned cotton tails I'm used to.
