where can i get a 14 inch crosman barrel for my 2240, i figure this is the fastest and simplest way to increase velocity, any part numbers will be appreciated. Also will this barrel mount up to my 2240 with no problem? i already have the steel breech kit installed
Try Mac1 (http://www.mac1airgunshop.com/Default.asp (http://www.mac1airgunshop.com/Default.asp)); TKO (http://www.tko22.com/ (http://www.tko22.com/)) & Bryan & Associates (http://www.airgunbna.com/ (http://www.airgunbna.com/)) as a starting point.

You can also get this from Charlie Mellon, but you'll have to wait.
Also check with Geppeto here on the CAPOF. He does beautiful barrel work and may be able to hook you up as well.
if its a .22 14" barrel you are looking for then you can try a 2250 barrel its 14.5" long and available from crosman less than $20

From the 2250B EVP the part number is 2250-019 but I can't tell how long it is.

Cheers,
Alan @ A&B airguns might have them in stock too. Or Allen can cut and re-crown a longer barrel.

Cheers,
its 14.5"
the 2250 didnt come with any other length barrel the 2260 has/had a 24" barrel and the 2240 a 7" barrel
the only gun i know of to be reintroduced with a different length barrel is the 2289g it came with a 14.5" barrel at first now it has a 12" barrel
the only difference between the 2289 14.5 and the 2250 14.5 is the dimple for the set screw of the 2250 barrel band
hth
FWIW the Dimple can be Hidden with Barrel Band or Shroud! Doesn't Bryan and associats Have a 8.375" Extension?
