I read a post by a fellow on the Yellow Forum who located a new service center/tuner in Colorado. This guy sent his leaky Marauder in for repair and an RWS 34 for installation of a Vortek spring kit. He was very satisfied, so I went to locate the website. He can build guns, tune them and make custom parts.
I had a short email chat with Dave Rogers and asked him about custom parts for the 13xx/22xx guns. He has held off making any parts because there are several doing so in the aftermarket. I told him that these shops come and go, often have large lead times, but there might very likely be crazy people out there, like CAPOF forum members, who might be intersted in some nice custom stuff.
If you are so moved, maybe drop Dave a message that you saw this post and let him know what types of Crosman aftermarket parts you might be interested in. Perhaps we can guide a new craftsman to do our bidding?
That's a good idea Larry. But then I hope we don't inundate him with eMails and scare him off.
