Title: What is an accurate BB pistol, that is a good value?
Post by: Brent on March 04, 2013, 10:52:53 PM
I was thinking about maybe getting one for the monthly BB pistol competitions. What do you guys recommend. I found the P10 for $32 at Walmart's website? Not keen that it has fixed sights.

Are we going to be having BB pistols as a monthly competition, or is that just for this and last month?

Dan Wesson 8" revolver, or the excellent Makarov.  The DW comes with a Weaver rail for mounting a red dot or scope. RC

Has anyone used the Crosman C41 CO2 BB Pistol?  I sort of like the looks of it and wonder what others think about it.

My C41 is the least accurate of all of my BB guns, i even sent the first one back because it was so bad. It's ok for plinking but target shooting is out. The C21 and C31 shoot much more accurate. But it could be my gun you know how that goes.

Hmm, thanks for that input Mike.  Don't think I'll be wasting my money on one of them.  Time to go back and have another looksy at what PA has available.

Thanks for the insight.

I had one (C41), but gave it away.  Long trigger pull. RC

I like my C31. It's accurate and a great value IMHO. I got it for $40.00 from Amazon and it came with a holster. It no longer fits in the holster  :D

+1 to the Special Combat and... whatever you get, use good BBs, not the Crosman brand, use Daisy Precision or RWS Precision BBs.

Yep, I can now see why it no longer fits in the holster.  :D

Very nice rework however.   :-*

BigErn,
Just out of curiosity, what is that shoulder stock on the C31 made out of?
Cheers,

Cheers,

It's 1" aluminum flat stock. Got it at Home Depot. I bent it using my dining table  :D

OK, I'll check what thicknesses they have here.  Tables and benches work pretty well if you don't have a brake, I've even used my truck's rear bumper to bend/straighten stuff.
Cheers,

Thanks Carl,
Yea, there is a Lowe's about 2 miles away.  Home Depot is all the way across town.
I won't copy Ern's directly but I'll see what I can come up with.
Cheers,
