Scope off, new Williams WGRS-54 on. Thanks Carl. That is 5 shots inside of a dime at 20ft, GAMO MATCH pellets, sitting on my stool.
Looking good and good shooter! Love the pellet shaped bolt :-*

When I was looking for new sights for SC Stubby I ordered three different sights and the WGRS-54 was one of them and one that I did not use. mudduck was looking for one and I made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Is this a pistol or carbine stock gun and, which front sight are you using and, since it's a peep rear sight how close is your eye to to the aperture?

It is a carbine. The front sight is the stock sight on the 14.5" backpacker and it looks like the sight on my 2240. My eye is aprox 6" to the aperture. First pic is with the scope I had on it. The second is with the Williams and the last is almost the whole thing. It's hard to take a good pic of the whole gun because it' 30 1/4" long.
Lookin' mighty good there mudduck. I like it! :-*
Carl
Nice, I might try to get a Williams one day.
I like the looks of that sight.
Nice looking and nice shooting ... :-*
I have one of those and I like it a lot! I have another on the way from Midway USA along with a notch blade for it. If I don't put it on one of my airguns, I can always use it on one of my .22 rifles. Provided I ever shoot any of my 22's again.
Cheers,

Which notch blade did you get? part number? I'm thinking about getting one to try. Is your barrel 14 1/2" The peep hole, to me, is alittle bit too big.
Are the peep and notch blade interchangeable with the same base?
Thanks,
Rich

I think they are. I found this blade setup on Midway, but $8.99+ $3.00 handling + 4.12 shipping = $16.11. This is why I quit buying from Midway. I think that is too much. I went to Williams 2013 product cataloge and no prices and their website is hard to find any thing on.

I just found it on Brownells for about $3.00 less.

Ordered from Midway USA Product #: 132349
Williams Rear Sight Blade Square Notch 3/16" Height Aluminum Black Williams #: 1589
Should be here any day.
I have found info in Williams catalog that says it will interchange onto the WGRS-54 and they come in different heights. 3/16" is the shortest. The peep that comes on the WGOS-54 is good for hunting. Williams makes peeps of all sizes too. The Williams peep inserts will fit Lyman sights but not vice-versa.
Cheers,
looks good!
good shooting using gamo pellets

Tried the RWS hobby pellets tonite, little better. 6 oclock hold, 5shots, 20ft on my stool in the garage.
Cool Duck that you got a sight to work on your new build... and it is a nice one at that. So cool that Carl helped you there!
So does the peep and notch blade then... both work on that base? Am not quite following it here in what is posted, if that is true or not?

Now that you have the new sight and a comfortable stool there are no more excuses for you to not enter our monthly shooting events. Pick one or two of your favorites and shoot away and post up your results.
