Got a question. If you have a the new rearward breech screw, how in the world do you get the breech off? It sounds like the screw is hidden by the bolt.
Easy...Remove both rear screws, remove breech and tube end caps, remove hammer spring and slide the bolt to the rear as far as it goes, you should now be able to get to the breech screw.
Hahaha, it is!!!
You have to take the grip frame off the gun, remove the rear breech screw, take off the endcap, remove the spring and hammer, unscrew the bolt handle from the bolt....then slide the bolt out the rear of the breech....
From there on out it's smooth sailing.
Unless you strip the breech screw.......................... :-X
Thanks you gentlemen.
;) be sure to watch for your little ball and spring! Or they will disappear! Most of us buy the 3/32 ball buy the hundred's! And steal all the disposable lighters we can for the little springs! :-*.....John
Where do you get the 3/32 steel balls at? Disposable lighter springs, interesting.
EBay or Mcmaster Carr
