Title: Crosman Williams Rear Sight on a 1377

Can this be done?  Or do I need some mod to be able to ..... thanks

All you need is a steel breech and your good to go.

Like Mike said, it will work. You need a steel breech, a Williams WGRS-54 sight and it will work. And if you want an open sight go to Brownells and get the blade.

If you are asking about the Williams Peep and/or the Williams Notch that Crosman sells both are micrometer adjustable and either would also require the steel breech.
I have the  Williams WGRS-54 sight that Duck mentioned on two of my guns, one with the peep aperture that comes with it and the other has the blade with a notch (I got my notched blade from Midway USA.).  I like them both but my eyes work better with the peep.
