i use mine to keep my stock parts , scope tools , ammo and basically all my DBO stuff in .
The 2289 and stock, a pair of 1701 grips and screws (makes it a 1322 pistol), pellets and some small towels to keep the gun wrapped in during it's backpack visit. Oh ya, and that cheezy little water bottle still resides in it's pouch, good for mixed adult beverages with ice. :-*
I use it as a small backpack for carrying around stuff like my iPad, camera, water bottle etc. It's a good size when you don't want to lug around a full size one.
Mine is still in the original box with the water bottle and targets. I have more backpacks & water bottles than I know what to do with ???. Additionally, I thought that the Crosman logo would just alert folks as to just what might be in the bag. Not that airguns are illegal but some miscreant might want to make off with it. I guess I might use it if I ever go to a Crosman sponsored event. For now however, it will be staying in the box. IMHO, a bug out bag should be as inconspicuous as possible. I have a very "Plain Jane" black bag that doesn't scream "tacticool" ;) Flex
That thought has crossed my mind as I use it...but not so much in terms of someone stealing it. More in terms of me being surrounded by SWAT when some panicky person freaks out over an airgun company logo. With people freaking out over NRA t-shirts...ya never know.
