Title: Is there a new 2250 type gun coming ?

I keep hearing here in the UK that people are being told in UK gun shops not to buy the 2250 because there is a new model coming very soon.

Can anyone shed any light on this please ?

Picture the Afternoon Play Pack, except co2 and longer barrel.
Add the 1701 style trigger frame, and it could still be a bargain, and a sweet shooter.
Let's get the rumor started.

But seriously, all versions of the 2250 seem to be out of stock at most US suppliers.
Are there any around in UK?

2250 ratcatcher is still in stock over here.

Pricing varies from about £115 without a scope,  £120 with a scope,  £130 without a scope and around £130 with a scope :)  yet all seem to show it with a scope.

Have also seen hints on various other forums about something else,  but appears to be guesses and rumour.

Not bad for UK, the steel breech and longer barrel added to standard would cost more than that  :(

But... Is it not just an £87 Custom shop 2400KT with 18" barrel option ?

And why is it still not listed on the Crosman site ?

Yes I have heard the same from a guy that works for a RFD, They said there is a new 2250 coming on the market shortly,

Conceivable it may not be a Crosman factory offering. Could be a Solware or a distributor putting it together from parts maybe?

All I can say is wouldn't the new 2250 just be a 2400 which we do not have in the UK ?

Could be. I don't yet know all the model numbers.
