Title: Grip gloves for 1701P grips
Post by: 7624452 on February 14, 2014, 03:45:18 AM
These fit the 1701P grips, but they are difficult to get on and off - maybe a good thing as they probably will not come loose.  :)

And what is the remainder of the review? More comfortable? Better scores? Recommended? Did you have to cut-to-fit?

I just put the Hogue version on my 2289 (I use a Chavka stock instead of the Crosman).  Nice snug fit and a good feel.  It'll do until I make wooden furniture for the gun.

I have a couple of these exact ones on my smooth ambi grips.  They go on and stay on.  I line the lower bout up with the bottom of the grips.  They look good on white, ivory, gray and black. They are good on the 1701-P and the Benjamin grips.  Not a fan on the black or brown faux wood grain standard grips, though.  (Just me)

Yes, yes, yes, no.
The grip makes the gun much more comfortable for me and allow me to shoot more accurately.  It fit my 1701P grips without alteration.

I like this idea a whole lot.  Hogue grips are very well made and feel good when you grip them.

I too used the same model Pachmayr slip on grip for my 1377. It's been a nice comfy improvement (though I like the look of the Hogue one too!)
