Title: 2260 piercing rod question
Post by: airriflenut on June 28, 2014, 02:45:25 AM
I have the 2260 tube left from the Beast, first thoughts were to make it into a bulk-fill build using the HPA extended valve cap.  After a lot of thinking I realized that $38.95 for one part could buy several other parts, and they are out of stock anyway.

I have the GMAC P.E. 60 from the Beast as well, so I am now thinking of making a 12 gram carbine and pistol set.  My thought is to remove the brass feed tube from the GMAC and make an aluminum piercing rod to screw into the GMAC knob.  Unless someone wants to buy the P.E. 60 that is.

My question, approximately how long is the 2260 piercing rod from the base of the cap to the powerlet end? A general starting point would help speed up the "tweak to fit" process.

Thanks in advance guys!!

Thank you kindly!!  I don't think I'll have to do much tweaking for a good fit now!!   :-* :-*
