Title: 1325,yes 1325 or .25 caliber one off custom carbine?
Post by: smallgamesniper on January 29, 2015, 05:04:29 AM
Need thoughts and opinions, please.I just got an email about a .25 cal big bore breech kit and barrel for the 13xx/22xx guns.My love is the 1377/1322.I already planned to buy a Crosman 1377 steel breech kit, and associated parts, to build it into a .22 cal using the Marauder trigger frame.Of course, I had planned all the usual power mods to back that up.A .25 cal will need lots of airflow and volume.I've been reading around the various forums, and thought about building a custom one off Crosbreedman 1325, based on the .25 cal big bore breech and barrel. My idea is to use the Marauder trigger frame,.25 cal breech/barrel,2200 pump tube/parts,Mt Air piston/valve.I know this isn't going to be a bolt together affair. I ain't skeerd of getting my tools dirty.

That would be one nice build.    I would go with a 1400 pump tube, linkage, and an extended flat topped extended 13xx valve, just my thoughts.       Also with the 1400 linkage put in one of MAC-1's flat top O-Ringed piston heads for the 1400 on it.

Just my 2 cents.

That's interesting.Any info on the 1400 conversion?I'd like to get a longer pump tube and stroke.I think there's a couple 13xx with that conversion. If I can get a .25 cal pellet in the 800fps range,I will be happy with it.I'm off to window shop Mac's.

Just got off the green forum.I learned some interesting stuff over there.Looks like what I want to do has already been done using the 21/2200 pump tube and a .22 cal breech and barrel.Time to same some money and start parts hording.
