Title: stock bolt
Post by: Bud on March 20, 2015, 01:48:01 PM
Last night I disassembeled  my 1322 in preperation to begin modding it. How do you remove the bolt from the breech? I also noticed some black staining on the face of the valve. It looked like the O ring dribbled down the face of the valve. I was going to flat top the valve, but decided to replace the parts with after market replacement parts. This will be my first attempt at modifying an air gun. I am thinking to replace the valve and piston assembly and the port first.  Any suggestions on how to proceed. I will go for a steel breech and longer barrel later. I am looking to increase velocity to as close to 600 fps as possible. Thanks ;)

The plastic breech is a two piece design with the bottom and top coming apart after it is loose from the barrel and pump tube. The bolt handle and probe are braded together and are not made to come apart. But, with some grinding and a small punch they can be separated. Using either piece after parting will require more work, tapping, threading etc.

Video here shows taking it apart, and making extended tip on the bolt.
