My 1377 project began life as a refurb as well many years ago. But the version I got was a detuned Canadian version. The valve had a bleed hole to limit velocity. Easy enough fix with a screw, jb weld, or better yet, a flat top piston. Not sure if they're still doing canadian valves nowadays, but wanted to share.
