Title: jsb .22 33.95 grain pellets try-out
Post by: UKairgunner on January 27, 2017, 10:36:23 PM
So ive ordered a tin of these 34 grain pellets to try

ill will be trying them in a 2240 with 12" barrel, a 2250 a pr900w pcp rifle and a pp700w pcp pistol

I will be shooting them over my Chrony  on UK legal pistols/rifles
Im not expecting much except a demonstration of how heavier pellets can increase  the energy recovered from your pistol/rifle and how you have to be careful with regard to the law........hint....buy your self a Chrony

If they group ok ill be amazed as they look like lead plumbing fittings!

at least the squirresl will have time to duck

Yes, .22 34 grain pellet.  JSB Beast Jumbo.
Very accurate reports so far. I'm not sure about how fast or slow they can be shot at.  I do know they shoot great in a Airforce Condor.

Ah

An Air Force Condor would high on my list at 60fp  if it was anywhere legal in the UK

at least we can buy muzzle brakes freely for our low powered air rifles here

Pellets not arrived yet though..mainly interested what extra power they can extract from C02 rifles in the winter when my power drops way down...i hoping they might be an easy way to bring the power up easily

280fps in a pistol and 398fps in a rifle
