Title: 2250,2260
Post by: AverageJoe on July 07, 2017, 07:24:19 PM
Do you get any more velocity or power just by changing over to the 2250 or 2260 tube when you already have the modified valve? Or do you have to do other mods to increase accuracy and FPS? What's the purpose? To change into carbine? I have added a BSA EDGE 2-7x28 and BOSS RP valve to 2240 pistol and it shoots great. I realize those tubes hold more co2 but do they use all the co2 that is in the tube? Just curious, thank you--AverageJoe

I did not know the 2250 held more gss. Doesn't it use one 12 gram CO2 bottle, just like the 2240? I didn't think any CO2 was available from the main tube..

^You're right.^

The 2250 & 2260 tubes are just to better/more stably mount a longer barrel.  They all only hold the co2 cartridge that pressurizes the valve only.  There is no pressure in the tubes.
The same power mods apply to all the 22xx guns.
