Title: TKO MB Question

What is under the wrap on the TKO MBs? I am contemplating painting mine and wanted to get an idea what, if any, issues I might have.

there was an aluminum tube under the wrap on mine
or at least thats what it looked like

mine seems to be plastic of some sort.

They are made out of delrin as far as I know

my end caps were delrin but the tube was a shiny light weight metal some of the wrap peeled off and thats what was exposed plastic ends metal body
i sold the brake or i would have posted pics .now that i think about it
i took pics of the exposed part when i sold it let me see if i can dig up the pis but i think i deleted them when the brake sold
