Morning all,
With all the talk of the AS2250 being discontinued and becoming harder to find or get parts for I have found that GMAC
still carries 99% of the parts for a build should you need them. For how long I don't know but I thought I'd just mention it.
I ordered a set of parts earlier this week for a project.
Cheers :-*
Good point mate, going to pick up a valve and air tube soon. Any ideas when our shops stop selling them?
Not really, I guess as soon as the stocks deplete. I think we'll be OK for a bit if I delete this post and keep it between us! ;D
However.....
The one thing I noticed in a a gun catalogue earlier this year was that Webley seem to be carrying the 2250b and 2240 under their name now.
I haven't seen one in person to check for any differences but I have seen them listed on a few sites and 2nd hand on Gunstar.
SO far though I haven't been able to raise anyones thoughts or opinions on this brand change observation.
Hopefully the AS/XT will also join them on Webley as Crosman discontinue them. Time will tell.
So "Badgers noses, otters spleens, get'em while they're hot they're lovely!" ;) (Monty Python 'Life of Brian')
Exelent reference oppertunaty taken there :)
GMAC comes through once again. And while the shipping cost will be a little high, if one gets desperate for parts we at least have a source.
Thanks for sharing.
Carl
And what a great movie, "Life of Brian", that was. Although I think one must have a sick or distorted sense of humor to enjoy it
Got the box set on dvd and vhs just incase 8)
