Post by: slider on June 28, 2011, 06:36:36 PM
Anyone have any idea how long Crosman will be out of their Steel Breeches for a 2240 ?

Just like "The Shadow", only Crosman knows and ain't telling.  The long steel breech is a popular item especially since all the Crosman Custom Shop guns get one most of the time.

Just order a 1377 breech and a 22 bolt if you cannot wait... that's what we did and Medic made up the bolts...

For a bit more, you can get a SS breech from Don Cothran. Pic:

Don's web site:

Mine should arrive Thursday, along with a 14" .22 barrel from Charlie Mellon. They'll be going in this, which currently has a 12" .22 barrel:

Can't wait!  :)

L.O. Little - Does that mean you will be selling your current steel breech and 12" barrel?

Probably not. Unfortunately, for my poor wallet, I see another project in the future...
