The local gun shop had a couple in stock, and so, I adopted one. Now I'm waiting for CMan to re-stock their steel breech. That's when the fun begins. I've taken it ouside for a bit of practice; pretty cool pistol. RC
Congrats on the new addition to your family.
Congrats! Only shot it a couple times and the modding bug has already struck. I think it's a virus Crosman puts in the clamshell, flies out when the seal is broken..

Having done some essential mods on my 2240 (another clamshell), my mission for the new fella will, more-or-less, follow suit. I think you may be right... RC
Someone's signature says that Crosman starts out as a hobby but quickly becomes an obsession. And oh how true that is.
The 1377 is a great gun and an all weather gun. You will love it.
Carl
Oh yes, that Crosman bug bites hard :)
congrats!
I feel the same way buddy! I just can't stop researching and thinking about it!
The 1377 is one of my all time favorite gun's even stock there sweet shooters. :-*
Mike
Crosman does not put a modifiy your 1377 virus in it's clam shell packages. They come from this forum and a few other sites that show modified 13XX. VERY contagious and habit forming, no matter what your age or how deep your pocket, this forum will corrupt you. ;D

very true!
Neither McAfee, Norton or the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta has developed a suitable anti Crosman venom yet.

The only other alternative is to buy another Crosman or just pass away.
Well, whatever it is that makes one want to tinker with these pistols, it's working here. I could think of worse things to do. I refined the trigger mechanism - polishing and shimming - yesterday, and am, somewhat impatiently, waiting for restock of a steel breech, while my red dot sight is on its way. Thanks for exposing the details of this virus. RC
Nice RC....I just picked up one of the newly named ones today....they're calling em 'pumpmaster classics' now :P.... looking forward to modding mine, as well as fixing up/modding my old 2240, and the new 2240kt that i've ordered at Cman custom shop... all 3 are getting a new breech in one form or another....I have a 1x42 red/green dot waiting to be installed on my old 2240, or maybe the new pumper...
I found that with a red dot sight on my 2240, I can pretty much nail the bull from 24' consistently. I suspect that there's a line waiting for the steel breech kits to get back in stock. I've had excellent results using Tasco sights, and this time I ordered the .22 rimfire model (BKRD 3022), which will fit the breech without an adapter. I filled the stock 1377 grips with steel epoxy, which adds an ounce to each grip, and gives a more solid feel. RC

I did the same thing on a set of grips for a 2240 and must admit it does give a much better feel to the gun. It gets rid of that hollow sound of the OEM grips.

atm in middle of ordering a grip/forearm set for my new 1377, in macassar ebony camo from John at Hellgrips.... everyone's projects have given me the bug to start off with a little eye candy :) next will be thinking about a new breech, longer barrel (gonna check out everyone else's before deciding on length of mine)...barrel band...barrel break... an older metal trigger frame to replace the plastic one...unless someone out there decides to start fab'ing their own now that it looks like Cman is making em in plastic :P .i have a 2240 all stripped down for repair/mod as well, and someone else suggested to use that one for my new pumper....nah, it's getting all reworked too so that'll be a no go...my ordered KT is going to have a 14" barrel on it, my old 2240 i havent decided if I'll keep the old 7.5" or go with the 10"
speaking of those grips....I did order them from John aka hellgrips (picture below)....now I'll be stalking the mailman lol.....

I just recieved a new 1377c and was so disapointed with it I sent it back. Since I am going to build a long stroke 1322/2289 I figured that about the only parts I really need are a grip frame and a valve without plastic.
