Can I put a scope on my stock 1377c or do I HAVE to upgrade to a metal breech first?
What about a laser mount?
You can use the Crosman intermount, but a lot of users report that it's a bit floppy, as the scope is mounted to the barrel and the barrel has only the transfer port to keep it from rotating.
JMJ
you will need the 459 intermounts to use a scope on a stock 1377
imo why $14 for intermounts when a steel breech runs $23 and you dont have worry about the zero getting messed up by a rotating barrel
Quotea steel breech runs $23
1377x,
Most of us have to fork out $29.99 + shipping.
Not to hijack the thread, but how are you doing?
Cheers,
Jerry
metal breeches are about 40 quid here in england :(

btw i am doing good even better after the news i got yesterday
back to the topic
its just a better idea to get the steel breech twice the price, half the headache :)
Called crosman about the breech, said they are on back order. She thought if I ordered it they would see them in about a week. She also told me only $4 shipping if I order by phone!
I kind of like the looks of their stock scope, might order them both. Anyone try their stock scope?
I don't know what the shipping cost of the scope would be.
Does crosman offer a barrel upgrade, maybe a little longer or stainless or...?

It's painful. :-X
If you use the intramounts, you will really need to get a band the grips the barrel in the front as well. I have them mounted on my 2240 and the barrel band helps a lot to keep things from moving. I also saw somewhere that set screws were used in the plastic breech to help hold the barrel. I you try that, use the finest threaded screws you can and drill and tap them into the thickest part of the breech. There just ain't much there to begin with, so I don;t know if it would be enough?

Seagull,
If you order all of it together on the phone, it should be $4 for shipping the entire order unless they call something in your order a product instead of a part. The only thing that cost me extra was a .177 steel breech kit (1377SBPK). I have not ordered a scope from them.
They also have barrels at very reasonable prices. Check for part #'s here:

I have not tried any of the Crosman scopes. Centerpoint scopes are very similar or identical to Leapers. I have two leapers BugBuster scopes and I like them very much. Only gripe is the thickness of the crosshairs. Great for short distances.
