i know many of you have both the 1322 and their co2 siblings . and FWIU the longer 24 inch barrels add some velocity and also lessen the loudness of the AGs . so are the 2240/2300/2400 with the 24 inch barrel perceptible louder or quieter or about the same as a 1322 w/24 inch barrel and 10 pumps ? if there is any difference .... is it just a little ? kinda noticeable ? very noticeable ?
Kind of a slight difference with CO2, since the gas is under a great deal more pressure than, say, air from a spring-piston rifle. It's going to expand to a large cloud of gas as soon as it leaves the barrel, no matter what it is.
But there is a bit larger air volume to absorb the sound in a long barrel, vs, say, a pistol. A coupe of Db difference, IME. Not more than that. 2 inches won't really make any difference.
