Title: More FPS?
Post by: andrew5826 on May 05, 2012, 08:39:08 AM
hey guys im still kinda new to airguns so sorry for my newbie questions

i bought this 2240 as a pistol a couple years ago and bought the longer barrel, steel breech, stock, scope and the muzzle brake along with it. i got bored of the power pretty quick so needless to say im looking for more fps. whats the best way to increase fps? i know that more fps = more co2 consumption and the co2 doesnt last that long right now so i'd be interested in getting one of those high pressure tanks too. can someone link me to the best parts to increase fps and all the parts i need to do a hpa (i think thats what their called) conversion? thanks!

what im looking for is exactly like this. can those tanks be refilled at paintball stores? how much do they usually charge?

Here is a link to one site that shows valve mods - http://www.airgununiverse.net/crosindex.html (http://www.airgununiverse.net/crosindex.html)

Since you are looking to spend money on fitting a tank to your carbine, I would suggest you talk to the folks who supply these products. Call Bryan & Associates and Mac1. They know stuff and are glad to pass it on.
