Name a gun you have on order of would like to order in the future. Post pics if you can.

Just bought a really nice crosman 600 but after reading the stories in the old threads here I kind of wish I hadnt. I have another crosman 38t on the way as well.
Kinda thinking about picking up one of those Makarov pistols since I use a real one for my CCW most of the time. I seem to be stuck on vintage crosmans right now.
I just bought a used 2240 off the classifieds that I'll scavenge some parts from and then recreate in some form so that's my next project.
Being limited to indoor shooting and having no need for much power I've settled into a long-term hunt for the discontinued Feinwerkbau Model 103 10m Air Pistol. Something about a true world-class single-stroke pneumatic is just intriguing. I have an Izzy and a 717--both single-stroke pneumatics--but even the Izzy comes up short compared to a Feinwerkbau. I really like totally self-contained airguns, much like my Sheridans and Benjamin or a 1377. A tin of pellets and your airgun and you're good to go. No pumps, hoses, cartridges, SCUBA tanks, etc.
Now having said that I'd love a nice PCP gun with all the required paraphernalia and envy many of the guns I see out there. I think a 1701P would be a nice PCP pistol to start out with considering my fascination with accurate lower powered target pistols.
I have a .25 marauder thats due to arrive tomorrow. I have a harris bipod and a 4.5-16x40 CPA AO RG mildot scope that'll temporarily grace it until I order the TAG version i want...
will be ordering a P-rod very soon to add to my growing collection, with a .25 Airforce Condor Bountyhunter coming after that...
I had my mind set on a witness but the BB thing just isn't working for me. There's something more realistic about pellets.
i want a crosman custom shop gun in the near future
wanted to get a 500sw but after shooting the 460sw i can wait a while.the recoil tore me up

Yikes, I couldn't even imagine shooting either of those. I'm not ashamed to admit that 44mag is all my wrist can handle.

What's wrong with the 600?
I thought they were great. Its always been the one airgun I really wanted to get familiar with. However, after reading up on threads here and around the web I am wondering if I have bitten off more than I can chew. I do not have the capability to manufacture parts. They also sound like they are extremly sensitive.
We will see. Hopefully I got a good one. I really dont like the idea of sending it off somewhere.
I'm waiting for the Crosman C51 to finally come out. I really want that one... :)

The 600 is a great gun and made very good there are many folks out there that can rebuild your 600 if needed and about being sensitive it's just pellet choice that you need to watch use flat tip/wadcutter pellets and you wont have a problem.

I've been drooling over that pistol for awhile, really thinking I could maybe get one... collect some aluminum cans, some scrap metal....cut some grass...
Except for the somewhat stiff trigger - and I'm on the look for some adventurous soul who can inform me of how to tune it - the Ruger is about as good as it gets. It's solidly built, has nice open sights, and it's very accurate. I bought a refurb. Looks new and works fine, and is shipped in a nice storage box instead of the blister pack. RC
Maybe there is a lighter spring you can get or do some polishing.

Overriding my hesitancy to dig into the trigger mechanism, I dared to take it apart, and it's a piece of cake. First off, the mechanism is all metal, about 3/16" thick, and machined nicely. No screws, the arbors the pieces rotate on simple push out of place. There's a spring about 5/8" long which I compressed using a pair of pliers. I also filed the contact points and used white lithium grease on all parts. I'll shoot it for a while, and if it needs further tuning, I'll do it again. Must be my lucky day, RC
Real, solid metal, Cool ;) , they must have broken their "bent sheet metal trigger maker" machine that most of the Chi-com guns show up with ;D
The trigger mechanism is heavy duty, though the trigger itself is synthetic, but it too is heavy duty. I've put more than 250 pellets through it. RC
Cool RC i glad you took care of that trigger. But you still should polish everything as you already know it will smooth that bad boy out nice. Keep the pics coming. :-*

I really REALLY want Crosman to offer a .25 barrel on their custom shop offerings. Just give us a drop-in barrel.
that would be nice

Took the plunge, have to wait and see what I get delivered because I had to correspond in Polish :D
thats a nice looking shooter!
that scope sure is long!
Scope is over the top, doesn't come with the rifle ;D
What brand is it Bert?
Most probably manufactured by the Shaoxing snowpeak air gun factory, the proof could be in the pudding, but that's never sure, none of the Chinese air rifle manufacturers I know of list this particular B3 version ...
Im waiting for the new Colt combat special it should be here today.

This one Mike? Real sweet pistol :-*

Yeah man thats it Bert i dont know much about them but they are limited so i picked one up plus the fact it's a 1911. Hope it shoots as good as it looks.

That's a real beauty. RC
I gave in to my deeper desires and ordered the Marauder Pistol. I should receive it while my girlfriend is out of town so the neighborhood rats and I will be spending some quality time together soon....

Jealous am I. :(
I probably will wish I had just gone that route in .25, but then I'd miss all the fun (and learning experience) I have planned modding a 2400 and a 2300 that are both en route. :)
the p-rod only comes in .22 cal

yea but it'd be kewl if they offered it in the other cals too... having an M-rod and matching P-rod would rock...

Come on man, I used to shoot my Dan Wesson 445 Super Mag one handed!
Just giving you a hard time, but I am really considering a Condor, but I might just have to go with the M-Rod as it would be much quieter here in the neighborhood. ;)
I did recently pick up a Savage bolt 22 for plinking, and a custom contender in 6 calibers.
I can see my neighbors now if I were to fire off a few rounds from an UN-shrouded Condor in the back yard, they would have coronaries.
Casey
its all good!
there was a time less than a year ago the recoil would have been no problem.ill get back there ;)
I wish i was waiting for one A FX royale 500 but way to much loot for me. I like the walnut stock
Okay, I'll come clean. I'm waiting for a AR2078B. I feel better now. RC

Great choice RC, I love those target QB stocks. I want one really bad for my QB79.
I'm looking forward to receiving it too. Free shipping from where I bought it is, slowly moving, parcel post, and it's taking a while. A 6x bugbuster is coming with it, so it should be a terror. I'll keep you posted. RC
I'm waiting for a 2400 KT. I just ordered it so it will be a while before it gets here. It will take a while for ordered accessories to get here, too. Scope's coming from China, like most everything else these's days :p But it's a copy of a Leopold that looks pretty good so we'll have to see how it does. All kinds of other stuff, I'll have to work on my photo "skills" ;)
Seeing as I don't have a .25 cal in my stable yet, I almost ordered the "plain" BT65, but I will wait and see if the new version arrives here first (same power/perfomance as "old" version, just more features)
Hatsan BT65 Elite, rear bolt. 1090 fps (.25 cal). Comes with 3 mags, built-in mag holder, 3 picatinny rails, sling, bipod, flashlight (?) and it's own hardcase:
:-\ :-\ :-\
If they won't be coming anytime soon, I guess I'll have to settle for the "plain" version! :(... ;D ;D ;D
Todd
EDIT: not sure how/why it double-posted the pic...ooops!
I think my next gun purchase is going to be either a qb78 custom or a 2540 from Mountain Air.
OK you guys you went and made me do it. I just had to order the bugout kit and already have a steel breech for it.
Mike
Sweet Mike... your gonna like it, a lot! ;)
Check the barrel band/plug for alignment, mine was a little on the loose side and didn't keep the barrel totally parallel to the main tube. No bigee, just details, careful it's plastic!
Otherwise, it's just the usual cleanup, oil and TLC stuff and some trigger spring work like any 22XX gun, have fun :-*
PS thanks again for that fiber optic sight you sent to me with that 2250 tube earlier this year, I put it on the Bakcpacker :-*
i wish the guns i want came pre-made fortunately i can build them all
