Has anyone heard anything at all about the Crosman (Benji) Nitro Piston Pistol? It was at the shot show in January. Surely it would be out by now unless there was some kind of big manufacturing problem with it. But, I haven't heard a peep ...
Last I heard, it is now Feb 2013.
As far as mfg. problems... there may be a "China issue" that we have not had any reports on, not unusual for our Chinese friends to just pull the plug on a product. I doubt that there are any techonology issues, as Crosman already had a Nitro piston pistol in 2010, it was the very BIG Benjamin branded version of the Crosman steel spring, break-barrel pistol.

Neither of those ever made it to mass market as far as I know. They were both in the 2010 Crosman catalogue (hard copy) http://www.crosman.com/pdf/Crosman-2010-Catalog.pdf (http://www.crosman.com/pdf/Crosman-2010-Catalog.pdf)
And they still had the 2250, 2260 and Nightstalker!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ya but... within weeks of getting that catalogue in the mail (Nov. 2009?) the 2250s and 2250 AS were nowhere to be found in the marketplace, same with the 2260 rifles, don't know why ???
And there were two rifles I really wanted to get new....2260 and AS2250XT
:(
The 2260 SE came with a steel breech and scope and was available in .177 and .22. Looking back at it now, I can see that it was too close in performance and lower cost than their "new" Discovery rifle so, I'm guessing marketing dept. took the axe to all the above in favor of the Disco.
