I would like to put powder adjusters on my PC77 and 2240. Will the Crosman 2300S powder adjuster fit and will the 2300S muzzle brake fit my 2240? If so will Crosman sell me these parts and does anyone know how much they cost.
Thanks,
pc
All of the parts will fit and Crosman will sell them to you if you know the part numbers. Call their customer service number (1-800-724-7486 Mon-Fri 8-4:30 Eastern time) and ask to order some replacement parts. I do not know the price of the parts in question but the sales person can tell you the price. I have ordered a similar muzzle brake Muzzle Brake (part # 1700-023) and it was $13.92.
Cheers,
the parts will fit
if the 2300s is considered a custom shop gun getting parts is going to be hard but attainable
Just called Crosman and orderd my power adjuster and muzzle brake i should have them in six days. :-*

I don't see where you will have a problem getting 2300s parts. Both the S and the T models you can get from PA and I believe amazon too.

glad to hear it
do you have some part numbers for us?
Here are the numbers for the muzzle brake and power adjuster and muzzle brake i orderd. 8)

2300-124 Pressure Adjust Assy.
2300-121 muzzle brake Assy.
I don;t think you will be able to add a PA to the PC77 without a large hammer. Smaller tube!!
Ditto on the tube size.
Maybe MellonAir or Art's Shack for a 1377 power adjuster?
So it is a no go on the power adjuster. Well it is ordered if anyone needs one let me know. I guess i will have to order one from millenair.

No worries, you can put it on the 2240 ;)
That will work i was going to order two of them but i could only afford one. So i guess that worked out good. :-*

On the 1377, you can drill and tap the stock cap and add a bolt or thumb screw. You will also need something (delrin plug) that goes into the spring so that the screw has something to push evenly on the spring. You can kind of see what I did in the past with these photos.
Thanks for the idea that's something i can do i can find a nob at ace hardware. Maybe i can find a rimed shell casing that will work for the guide.

I am using the Delrin spring guides in the 2300 and the Black Widow Frankengun... just because. I'm pretty sure that extra 1/4" base will add some power (tension to the spring) even in a gun without a power adjuster. I'm getting 40-45 good shots per cart with them. I'll chrony with and without just to settle it (in my mind, anyway).

i was going to say if you ordered two i would take the other one off your hands.luckily you only got one
if you do the pa mod to your pc77 with the stock end cap
keep in mind if you make the adjuster screw bigger than the hammer spring you can change hammer springs with out taking the gun apart
Thanks for the tip that is a good idea. :-*

PC77,
Sorry if I steered you wrong. I saw the question about the parts fitting on your 2400 and missed the first part about the PC77. If you drill and tap it, use a 3/8-24 tap and find a 3/8" fine threaded screw for the adjuster. That is large enough to change the spring without taking the adjuster assy off of the gun. That is the size Charlie Mellon uses too.
Cheers,
No problem, everything worked out great. Thanks for the bolt size i only have a few taps but i just happen to have a 3/8-24 tap. :-*
