Title: Free Pellet Trap
Post by: PC77 on September 25, 2012, 05:49:39 PM
Stuff you need:

cardboard box about 3in thick
catalog around a 1in thick
some bonded carpet pad

You can find used bonded carpet pad at carpet stores. Look at the back of a store it will be in dumpers and on the ground sometimes you can find large craps of new pad. Bonded pad is the best type of pad to use it is a lot denser than other kinds of pad.

To make the trap put few layers of pad in the box put in a 1in thick catolog or phone book and fill the box the rest of the way with pad. Staple, tape or thumb tack a target on and you are ready to shoot.

I just use squirrels. They are free and a target and pellet trap all in one! One time use only, though  :(

Seriously, neat idea.
