Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying a 2300t or 2300kt for indoors. I really like my 1337 and the noise level it puts out. I recently fired a small co2 pistol (berreta px4) and it was way too loud. Sounded like a .22...

So, my question- is that just the price you pay for co2, or could the 2300 be comparable in sound levels to a 1337 (or at least, not as bad as the really short co2 pistol I fired)?

They are much louder than the 1377's. LDC is your friend :-*

They are a bit louder, especially if you've only needed to pump a 13XX 4-5 times for indoors. The longer the barrel, the quieter they get, but not by too much. TKO makes a good LDC to quiet them down, and I think they can make one with a built in front sight post.

All the co2s are a bit loud.  But the px4 is extra loud because of the blowback.  You should hear my 2240 with a 6" barrel.  LOUD!!!

2300KT is a great gun but... you will want a muffler on that thing for indoors or even outside for the neighbors. The 22XX co2 guns are just a few decibels less "pop" than a .22 short, tends to make folks nervous who aren't into airguns.

That's just the nature of the (CO2) beast.

I've never wanted something so useless in my life.
