Rookie 2240 question

What do I have to do to convert a 2240 to .177 Cal.? I have spare 1377 barrels and bolts. Will the 1377 barrel fit the 2240?

I think that is all you need BE! A .177 barrel and a .177 probe! At least I hope so! I got two .177 barrels coming sometime and I won't to convert one, also! Got the steel breech, just need to order another 2240 from WallyWorld ! Let me know if you can't!....John

tnpaw got it. Both the .22 and the .177 barrels are 7/16" OD.

Should be using the same breech-block, the barrel and matching bolt probe are what you will change out (.177 as a barrel/bolt probe set, and likewise .22 as a set)

I think this applies both to the Cros steel breeches as well as the OEM plastic breeches.

You are good to go, but remember, it did not happen if we don't see pictures!!   


Ans if you are using a steel breech, you need a bolt that has a removable screw in handle. Other than that..you are good.
