Are these pellets any good? One better than the other? Was thinking of trying some, or both. Using them for target practice. Need something that I can shoot allot of to get some practice time in, and will switch to the RWS's for competition.

I have a tin of the Beemans ... they dont do very well in any of my guns.

For general plinking/can-popping I use Daisy Premium wadcutters/500ct @ 3.47 per tin. (Tractor Supply). PA has them for 1.00 more

For a cheap pellet, I've had very good results with these: http://www.pyramydair.com/s/p/H_N_Excite_Econ_Pellets_177_Cal_7_48_Grains_Wadcutter_500ct/1059

I haven't tried these yet, but a few members here have with pretty good results: http://www.pyramydair.com/s/p/RWS_Diabolo_Basic_177_Cal_7_0_Grains_Wadcutter_500ct/234

You may find them cheaper at other places  ???, I just used PA as an example....

Your have to find some samples of different pellets that are cheap enought to use then will not mess you up when you shoot the RWS ones jus because a pellets the same different company's shoot different just the nature of airgun's. When I got my first springer I got a set of samples 12.  Different pellets 50 each to find out what would work  IMO  :-*                                                                                                                                                                                                Jim

I've used quite a few Beeman Coated pellets for plinking cans, but haven't found them to be consistent enough for targets.  RWS Diablo Basic pellets are inexpensive, and they shoot well in many of my guns. RC

I think they were more of a novelty than anything practical.  Shot okay but nothing spectacular.

As mentioned,  there are lots better choices.

Thanks guys for all your advise and suggestions!!

I actually have shot a few of the Daisy's... they came in a 300 pack of WC, pointed, and HP at Walmart. They shoot pretty well... but I didn't want to keep getting the other points when buying them... was only really interested in the WCs. They are short, so they often turn in my breech of the 2300s, but a toothpick gets them straight lol. I looked at some pellet test threads here after posting, and saw that those I asked about, where shooting about average. The Daisy's actually looked to be out shooting allot of lower cost brands. Found that interesting. Surprised me.

Thanks WD for the heads up on tractor supply! We actually had a new one open recently in town. Never gave them a thought for pellets. Picked up 2 tins.

Am going to try these other pellets eventually that you guys recommended. Am curious on shooting them also.

So while I was in TS... they had that Daisy red dot for $10 there. Looked up quick some reviews (and read some posts Rich had here talking about it)... and walked out with one of those lol. It is going on the 1377 for checking it out and plinking fun... curious how it will do ;)

Glad I could help Brent.  Those Daisy's is cheap for plinking fun and acceptably accurate.  Especially when a 9 year old shoots them for hours.
