So my next effort was to reduce the trigger pull weight . My first idea was to buy a spring with adjuster (£8). I was getting a 3 lbs pull which was without creep, for me ( with over 40 years of shooting) it was O.K but for a first rifle for a 10 yr old a no no .   My next try was a .22lr case fitted inside the original sear spring which had 3 of the rings crimped together by a needle-nosed pliers, ( not one of my most elegant remedies, but well it works. K.I.S.S as my old grandad said )    the case making contact with the lower edge of the sear, a generous slap of moly, and 1 lb 12 ozs average,  as slick as a baby's buttocks. Next come the paper punching.

 1377xx   thanks for the link,   I`m thinking of useing an bottle carrier from a bicycle, it will need some mods but I think it will work.

I thought GMAC in the UK sold a brass breech.

I've also seen others that use a brass tube over the OEM Crosman barrel.
