Length of Pull?

Sorry to ask such a simple question, but my searching didn't find an answer.

What is the length of pull on the Crosman OEM shoulder stock?

Been having  blast with my 2240, last weekend with my grandkids, we were fighting over who would use it all afternoon. It's not like there were.t enough pellet guns to go around, we had 2 crosman 357's, a Raven, and  few airsofts. and the obligatory daisy bb gun.

So my next one will be a 2400kt w/shoulder stock and 14" barrel.

I made up  4 target set of backstops out of a small 2 drawer cheap file drawer unit, and it worked wicked good. We can put spinners on 2 and paper target in the other 2.

Also how much better will they work when the temperatures rise? It was in the 40's when we were shooting.

Good question and as many guns as I have with the 1399 stock I have never actually measured the LOP.  And because I am not at home this week I can't run down to my shop and measure one for you.

Hopefully someone will chime in here soon with the data.

I found the LOP too long on the Crosman synthetic stock so I shortened mine to 15". You might consider doing the same if the kids will be using it. I would guess an unaltered stock might run in the 17"-18" range.

I shortened this stock 2", used a piece of hardwood and screws. I also poured some epoxy onto the wood through the grip area, to solidify it. Works great for the Grandkids, and I like it too.

wow, 16"--- I thought it looked a little long from pictures and videos I've seen online.

Well a good thing maybe that my grandson will find it a little too long, and I can use it lol

16" is too long.  I'm 6"3" with long arms and legs.  I took 2" out of mine just in front of the buttplate.
I think I have a pic of it around here somewhere.
I think it came out pretty good.

I don't know why Crosman would make the LOP so long when the industry standard is more like 13.5".  Even the Benji 397 is closer to 13".
I didn't put anything in the joints.  The hollow part only extends from the pistol grip back to just beyond the logo.  The top and bottom parts are solid.  After cutting out 2" in my miter saw, I aligned them, drilled pilot holes for 2" deck screws, applied some gel type super glue in between the parts, and screwed them together.

You did a great job on that fix Jerry.  With a little bit of TLC on the joints for clean up, it would look factory.
