Nice case/rug for 1377 or 1322 & maybe others!

I've be looking for a reasonably priced, soft sided zipper case/rug for my 1322 (or 1377, which ever ends up with the shortest barrel) and finally found one. Ace Hardware carries the Bulldog brand of holsters, but I haven't seen any pistol cases large enough for the Crosman pumper pistols. The local Ace was (again) rearanging their gunshop corner and while strolling the aisles, I spotted a lone Bulldog "Large Gray Pistol Rug" on a lower shelf. It's pretty easy to find a zipper case for the average handgun but the Crosman pumpers are a bit on the long side and are too long for most of those cases. I had the clerk measure it for me just to be sure (men generally have problems estimating length  ). Outside overall length was ~17" which I figured was plenty for a 13" airgun. Price was decent too, <$10 with tax. I'm happy with it and think that others looking for something similar would be too. I did have to move the zipper stop to allow the zipper to move far enough to let the case open completely flat. I've included a few pics for those that are interested.  The model # is BD612. Enjoy. Perfect fit for a stock 13xx pistol. I am sure the price was right, too. I like ACE cases, too; they are similar to your Bulldog.

Make sure that it's the LARGE one. The 12" one will be too small for a stock 1377 or 1322! Flex

When you select 'LARGE' it shows the case as being 18" x 8" which I think is the same as what you picked up.

Yes putting a 15" Mellon barrel on it.

Sorry, I was looking at the pic and description on the link without choosing a size. I believe that you are correct in that the one I have is the 18' x 8" size. The Amazon price is about the same as my before tax price. I'm sure most folks figure out a way to buy more than $25 in order to get the FREE shipping. To be honest, my quest never included an internet search. While I do buy many things via the internet, I most often have actually held the product in my hands first. (It's the one thing I like about places like Gander Mtn, Cabelas, Bass Pro, etc). I also value the "hands on" reports and pics from folks on the various forums (like this one). I hope that others find my post and pics on this product helpful. I'm very pleased with the Bulldog pistol case. Flex

I like that. Even the color. It looks like it would also fit my 2300s, with the reddot on it too. Need to go measure it.

Am also thinking of Barry's cool briefcase mod - but need to figure out something to haul them around in when I want to take them with me to the relatives up north.

Like you, I am also a hands on guy whenever that is possible.  Nothing like actually having the product in your hand to get an instant opinion about it.

But now I don't mind ordering it on line because I got the 'Flex seal of Approval'.
