Good morning

I was playing with the 2250Xe/ disco conversion over the weekend. One of them is still a C02 gun with the BNM breech and Shroud. I decided to take out the disco spring and install the blue spring that came with the 2300-124 power adjuster, positive change i think. I increased my shot count from 30 to 40 shots on one cart, i like it. Didnt change accuracy, and still have the whole screw in power adjuster to work with. Currently its fully out.

I installed the same spring in the PCP set up and it was so weak. Although my shot count went from around 30 to cloase to 80! But with no power or accuracy i was accustomed to. I reinstalled the disco spring. But it got me thinking if i could find a halfway point between the two springs. Decent power with high shot count, i like it. But how do i come across the midway spring? Has anyone here tried to do that?

I may run by the hardware store and just try to do a "touchy feely" and see what i come up with............................or see what yall come up with to.

Correct on your observations... that "blue spring" is key to the power adjuster working correctly (lighter gage wire).

Here's the McMAster Carr link for compression springs... you want to keep nearly the same length and coil count but find a wire size/gage that is half way between the two parameters you noted.

I get .041 springs from my local hardware store they cost me $2-$3 a piece iirc
in a disco that spring increases velocity by 100fps
edit
forgot to mention the fill pressure goes up to 2400-2600psi
closed mouths dont get fed
