The new grips really complete the pistol, KBR97. I think upgrading the furniture is about the highest priority for me.

Ok, so if I'm understanding this correcly the felt lays over the top of the inlet? So when the pump handle closes it acts as a cushion between the tube and the wood arm.

I don't know what to do next as far as modding the pistol. I guess its done for now unless I decide to do the piston and valve. I don't see a need for it right now though.

Yes, sticky side on the inlet
You can look thru gallery and check out everything by the parts makers and that may give you some ideas cravings.......  ;D
Need to get plenty of trigger time in too because it looks like its shooting real good  :-*

I do have a few gripes with certain parts.  My crosman breech has some machining marks. The pump handle has a few spots where the wood color is coming through brown. And also the front sight post seems to be ever so slighty tweeked to one side. Nothing real major. All in all I'm happy so far! The pistol shoots fantastic.

Thanks, for all the info and the pics.  I'm looking forward to "improving" mine.

This one came out great!  :-* :-*

One little thing to put the final touch on it is to fill in your tube lettering with paint. I used a green on mine. White always looks good. It's easy and free. Just the cost of slipping a tube of nail polish out of your wife's make-up cabinet without getting caught! Adds to the intrigue  ;D
Again, great job. Gives me inspiration for mine.

Ark you did really a precise work filling that writing!
Kbr, that grips are sweet!

The trick is to fill the letters and not make to much of a mess. Wait about an hour or two and then use that stinky stuff fingernail polish remover on a taunt rag and gently wipe across the letter to remove all the excess on the outside of the indented letters. Rotate rag to clean spot frequently. If you end up taking to much out of a letter, not to worry, just do it again!

That sounds easy enough  :-*
