My pin just snapped!! Where can I get a new one?

So I bought a "Power Hammer Spring" off eBay for $15.. not only did it get my CO2 stuck in the valve, it also snapped my hammer pin... Is it possible to buy the hammer pin separate...where?

Yeah, that pin is only $1.15 each  plus $4 shipping  ... but about a week or so to get it.   

Just PM me your address and I will send you one... my good deed for the new month!    I got more of those than I would admit to in forum company.

Heavy hammer springs are very hard on these pistols. I have gone back to stock springs to reduce problems.

I agree with Larry. Increase tension somewhere, and then there is always another place to beef up. Live and learn    Must have been an awful strong spring. Never saw that happen before. Might want to check out the stem after a couple pf hundred shots. It is soft steel and will mushroom under the heavier and harder hammer impact. Have seen it on a 13xx with a flat top, but never a 2240 based gun.

that spring had to be over .041 in wire diameter. i have used up to .045 with bolt cocking and the bolt handle started to bend with that
in a pinch you can flip the pin over and pound it into the hole i have seen that done before, it works. you can also use 1.8 drill rod. i had to use a dremel bit that i cut down to size. had to leave it a little long because if the gun flipped over the pin would fall out. with it left longer it couldnt fall out

I know when I need parts for my Lexus I have to go on a forum, not do sumthin logical like call Lexus with my year & model and get the part
