Got mine today. Checked the port for burrs and greased the piston. Yeah, it's a bit of work to pump, but the trigger is cool. I've had this cheap BSA laser for a while so I put it on the dovetail. Too bad there isn't a rail on the frame, but I'm not gonna get picky. Waiting to shoot it some more before I glue the switch in place.

I received my new one. Wow, they have made some improvements on this thing. The first thing you notice is fiber optic sights, nice. The chamber on the barrel is recessed more for easy pellet loading. Other that that so far looks about the same. I'll clean it up today and sight it in today. The P17 club is growing. 8)

If I were to get a new one (I gave my first away), what do I need to do to get it cleaned, lubed and ready to go? 'Kinda thinking about getting one now that the price is simply unbeatable!  :-*

Noah, you need a 2mm allen wrench, the right size pin punch, small hammer, 2 paper towels, some 400gt sandpaper and a touch of white lithum greese. I cleaned my new one today. Look at my next post.

Well, I cleaned and lubed my new one today. Here is why you need to pull the piston out and clean the piston and the piston tube body. I just used a paper towel to clean with, then the white lithum greese. I also checked for the burr with some 400gt wet and dry sandpaper and found no burr. I think that "they" got that problem solved. Haven't had a chance to sight it in yet, that's next on  my list. ;)

I sure like the new sights they are using now. :)
