im looking to order the 13xx grips that are the fake wood plasitc, but in the black plastic like the pc77, ... i cant figure out which parts diagram i want to use to make sure i order with the right parts number, i cant find one forr the pc77. thx a bunch.

another question. doing a parts build should i order crosman trigger parts or is there a better after market i should get right off the bat?

thanks a ton in advance.  :)

That's a good question on the grips. I looked at the evp and there is only one number for grips.Kind of a crap shoot there. Why not get the 1701 grips? They are Bosch but don't have the wood grain. On triggers my choice would be to go with the 1701 trigger group.  It is one of the best triggers Crosman has to offer.

will the 1701 group work in both the 13xx and 12xx guns?

bgmcgee

I've got one on my 1377,2300kt and the bnm2240. They all work all you need is a solid hammer, as in the waist needs to be filled. Quickster did one for me with jb weld and it works fine the others have mellonair solid hammers but the wait is a killer for parts from him.

I'll be doing the conversion soon with the Prod hammer/striker parts that I have on order with Crosman.
Long days and pleasant nights to you...

if you want the black plastic grips just the grips order the grips from a 2240
they are what you asked for and the stock trigger group/grip frame is the same as a pc77
but as bgmcgee said that's the ultimate set up with the 1701p grips/trigger group

Good call Ed. Didn't even cross my mind that the 2240 grips are the black pc77 grips. Heck kraash if you want those grips I have a set I'll give ya just pick up the shipping.  :-*

that's the grip set I use on my 1377
been using them since before the marauder pistol/1701p and pc77 were available
now I am going to switch to the mp/1701p grips

Personally I like the feel of the 1701 grips better than the 2240 ones.

It says on the site that you can't order 1701 parts from crosman ?...

Just call Crosman Parts dept. and ask for Grips 1700-031 and 1700-032 from the Crosman 1700P Silhouette PCP Pistol (just a tuned down Marauder pistol). These are the updated grips for that line of pistols after Dec. 2010.

These are the "new" style smoother grips without the funky woodgrain look and they are black with a Crosman bullseye logo. Better looking, better feeling grips IMO. Cheap and a great improvement.

But what about the 1701 trig parts?

BDS

1700P is the parts list I used for Grips, you will have to go tot the Crosman website and gun manuals look up and do some homework for trigger parts, you said GRIPS

We love to help new folks figure stuff out but... some of us don't do NEEDY/Demanding very well! Do you?

Brian's right on the grips and parts. Sorry I don't have the 1700 parts here in my pocket  ;D. Just thought if you really wanted the black wood grain plastic grip panels I would let you have the pair I have no use for.

Speaking of, I tried to order the ergonomic pump handle grip that comes on the 2289 and the Crosman lady told me they don't have them because they "stopped making that gun".  But I'm pretty sure they're mass producing those bug out kits like a chinese fireworks factory, so I'm not sure what the real deal is.
Black air pistols matter.
