Do they make front metal sights for a 2289 (backpacker)

I just installed a nice adjustable steel rear sight on my 2289 (also has the steel breech) I would like to find a front steel sight. I don't like the muzzle brake look as I am going more towards the old school look, not a modern tactical look. In fact if I could find wood stocks/grips for my 2289 I would be interested in that as a future modification.

Thanks,
Dan

Sure, Greg of Bluefork can set you up with a very nice aluminum one.  Or you can go through his distributor HPA Sports.

Best bet might be something like the one that comes on the 2240 or maybe even the AS2250.  They are both press fit sights and would look okay on the 2289.

I've never wanted something so useless in my life.

Thanks for the lead, it looks like HPA sports is out of the plain one I like  :(

You can always try Greg directly on here.  His username is Bluefork.

There's also Michael Chavka who sells on the yellow classifieds.  He makes a copy of Greg's.
