I see a lot of the 13XX and 22XX guns with longer barrels and LDC's. What does this do to the balance? Or are these guns shot off the bench all the time?

Weight is weight. It will change the feel of the pistol for sure. I ain't no trained shooter so it doesn't matter to me.  All my Crosman pistols have ldc's or like the bnm2240 a shroud so I guess I'm used to the extra weight out front.

In my opinion it's really not that much of an issue balance wise.I did some pest control with a 2300KT pistol which had a 14" barrel.Got used to it pretty quickly. It's just a bit harder to fit in a holster is all.. ;D

I am not holstering anything, but I shoot a lot off-hand.

I doubt you will be bothered by an LDC on a pistol shot offhand. They are very lightweight.

Recommend a LDC?? I've been looking at various makers.

Really can't go wrong with a TKO - http://www.tko22.com/
