Empty CO2 Cartridges?

What to do with them ??? Collect them for scrap steel? Make targets? Make cartridge art? Cleaning out my tool box I found a few empties. Hmmm...I had a custom CO2 cap with no extension I wanted to use on my 2400. Then I had an idea. I Measured the extension on another cap, It was an 1-1/2" inches long. I cut the top of the empty cartridge to the same length. Inserted a cartridge then the adapter (point down) into the tube. Tightened the cap and it worked great.
