Wanted to know if anyone has one of these!! Crosman 454 . Got one on the way!!

Had one, refurbished it, painted it, shot it and sold it.

There are two weaknesses to the gun. First, lots of them had the bottom back part of the frame bend out sideways from the repeated torque on the screw that pushes the cartridge to puncture. Mine had that problem and was mitigated by drilling and tapping for a small screw to pull the frame back into alignment. The other problem related to BB's feeding properly and reliably down the channel with the spring follower. I polished the raceway and the BB's seemed to feed fine afterwards. These pistols are easy to work on.

Hey trophy, sorry to resurrect this post, but I am interested in an update on your 454.
I am about to restore mine from days gone by.

Tell us what work you had to do to get it shooting. How awful is that trigger blade to your finger?
