Hi guys I have just ordered the Gmac breech kit for my 1377 and should be with me on tuesday, what I want to know is does the kit come with the screw where the old sights used to go or is it ok to use the original one, bearing in mind this will go through the end cap as well.

You can use the old screw but you will have to make it shorter.

How much do you think I will need to cut off the original screw, I know I have been asking alot of questions lately but I far rather be safe than sorry.

I would wait for the kit to arrive and measure the bolt it comes with (possible chance it might vary from batch to batch)

Always use some washers or spacers to get going,  then chop down later.

Measure twice cut once  :-*

As above, I put a washer across the top initially. I think I cut off about 4 or 5 mm, but measure first.

Hi guys thanks for the advice, will see what arrives with the kit, then I will decide on screw length using washers first before cutting.
