Well after like any tune I am always anxious to hear back from the customer on how things are going.  Call me a worrisome person but I want results for the customer more than they do I assure you.  So after she entrusted her newly acquired almost 2300KT in .177 caliber with a LW barrel she wanted me to do a trigger tune; take out the trigger play; align the barrel so the front blade sight is in line with the rear of the gun; and just general assess her gun.

Performed said functions and even replaced her hammer cover with a nice stainless one I had on hand for her to see if she would like......even told her it was on the house since it was just sitting on a shelf.

So yesterday she reported to me she put up a target at 10 metetrs roughly and began to sight the gun in again since I had it apart.  She said she could not stop smiling because the trigger pull resultant I set at a tad over 3 lbs. was great and once sighted in the pistol hit everywhere she aimed give or take a few mm!

Man I was happier than she was!  So the second tuning of a 2300KT was to me a great success with a happy customer!  That said I re-crowned my .22 barrel last night on my 2300KT because it was a bit rough around the edges.  I faced it at 0 degrees; did a 11 degree target crown to protect it; and chamferred the outer edge 45 degrees for fit/finish even though you don't see that area due to the muzzle weight.

The new product G96 I am using for touch bluing even worked like a charm!

I cannot wait to open up for part-time/full time business this summer!  Right now only taking orders at will so customers will not be without their air guns long.

Thanks for reading and hopefully we can expand our business down the road for more applications to this fine pistol.

Cool deal.  :-*It's always nice to see something work out like was planned and to have a happy customer in the end.

You are certainly right!  Word of mouth can kill you out here in this small world! :)

The hammer or striker that when the sear releases it impacts the valve.  Not sure what the technical name is........I call them a hammer and the cap that has the spring resting in the recess a hammer cover. ;)
