Crosman 1389

I got one from a friend who did not want it any longer...

Was in rough condition, but light disassembly and cleaning netted a pretty good shooter.

I was hoping that the SSP-250 barrel I got last year would work... IT DOES!!

I needed to replace the seal from the valve to the breech and its screw was toast. Need to chrony it too...

I need a better scope/dot but I mounted up one to try and it shot pretty well.

Here is how it looks with the shorter SSP250 barrel.

Does anyone know if Crosman is selling the 2289 forearms again, and if so, what the part number is? More specifically, has anyone ordered one within the last 6 months or so, because I know previously they said they weren't offering them any longer.

The part # you are looking for is 1389-025 $8.75 last I knew.

As of 1-30-2014 the 2289-025 was $9.50 .

I got to watch more closely to what I post . I was lookin at the PA mag. lookin at .22 marauder . That's
where the 22 came in . Now 1389-025 is $9.50 .
