How do you guys store and transport your longer pistols, such as the Marauder?  I prefer hard cases, but all i have found so far is a UTG 25" soft case.

Go by Midway and look at cases for the Thompson Center Encore and Contender.

A long time back, one of the CAPOF members mentioned this one for the longer barreled models, like my 14.3" .22 2300KT pistol.

Have you thought about a hard case like those for breakdown shotguns?
It ain't like it used to be but, eh, it's do.

I have several different sized Vanguard hard cases I use for my longer pistols....

Google search "gun hard cases" and you'll find other manufactures too.

Harbor Freight has an aluminum tool case on sale right now. I only saw it in the ad, not in person, so I can;t say anything of the quality. Just thought I would drop it out there.

Guys thanks for the help.

Rws, I have done some searching already, but haven't come up with much in the size range that I *think I need*.  Could you give me the model number of that first case? It appears ideal.

I bought several Vanguard Outback cases from Planet Optics that were on sale a while back.

Here is one with different pistols in it for a size reference.

RWS,
That's exactly what I am looking for, thanks.  (well, the price isn't exactly what I was hoping for..., but everything else is spot on).

..I had one of these but didn't like it....was a little longer than I wanted and was just too cheap looking.

I have one of those, and It's a great case for the money but I'm in the same boat as you, too big, and not as nice as what I'm looking for.  I have a Plano AW case, and it's by far my favorite, but I'm trying to keep the case small, and their smallest seems to be 40 inches in length (although I've seen some advertised as 36 inches).

I like to keep the P-Rod at easy reach within the house  (got to defend the bird feeder and fruit trees at a moments notice!!!), and want to also keep it in a case.
