Considering getting back into supplying barrels for airgun use and trying to gauge the interest level. If this is something you would be seriously interested in, please post caliber and length. If you would be wanting a drop in "kit", please add for which platform (22xx, QB, etc.).

Thanks.

I'd to be interested in a .25 for a 2260/Disco breech.  Or maybe even for my .500 ID breech.  20"-26".  I would really like a 9mm to fit the .500 ID breech I have.  Let us know for sure.  Hopefully others will chime in and create a real interest.

My 1325XLT is now a 1322XLT

I got it to 750 fps on 15 pumps and think that would translate to 650-660  as a 20.1gr  .25 with the  .25 barrel I have...

unfortunately I can not afford a 22 inch L.W. barrel and have to make do with a nps 725 barrel  18.75" long,

I am working on a new recipe for the barrel I have  and it will take more pumps because I want to stick with  Crosman parts so it will be a ~4.2

stroke" 66/664 pump tube with a maxi  valve  moved back .3 and extended .9  and  30 pumps to 20+ fpe...

gippeto what I think you need to do is offer a custom pump tube steroid linkage 392 modded valve  LW. barrel ed for $450-550 I think ~20 fpe is

doable on 12-15 pumps...

come on guys take up the challenge and build a capabable .25 be it with an choked  L.W.  barrel or the cheap almost as good  Crosman barrel...

it would need reinforce tube linkage and a solid  pivot plug / barrel band

This is the Capof  forum, please out do me and my cheap franken 1325XLT... at about 650 fps on 15 pumps... right now a  1322 at 14.3 and 750 fps

on 15 pumps.

I think all should get a .25 barrel and take up the challenge...

there are two better than mine because they did not  have to stick to just  Crosman parts...

search millennium pumper and

long stroke .25

http://www.network54.com/Forum/275684/message/1396539023/.25+cal+pumper+%281325+long+stroke+model%29

It needs some volume and there are a few way to get there with a 66/664 pump tube and a 3 piece valve I can easily see   a  .19+ ci valve and I am at about 660fps with a 20.1gr pellet with a 1.3 ci valve... and 30-35 pumps easier than Higher pressure low pumps...

you want a capable pumper well it is only a bit of imagination and execution away wish I had more $... it is actually pretty doable for a 20+ fpe pumper within 15- 20 pumps if you have just a little bit of fpe stored in your reactive fibers...(muscles)

Al,
I would be interested in a 26" .25 barrel kit for a 22XX /Disco breech.

If it's not broken then modify it!

.257 for the Marauder or Disco breech would be cool.  24"   Is it possible to enlarge the Disco breech to accept 0.5 barrels?  7/16 just seems too thin walled for .257 that I am thinking of.

If you do get into this, I would hope that .25 caliber, .357 and/or 9mm, .45 and .50 calibers would be on your menu. I would be interested in beginning with three of each of these after we talk.  :)

Hi guys,

I assume the disco breech is the same as the crosman steel breech but with the small screw in the rearward position? If "yes", the .25's I was doing up would drop right in. I do not have a marauder breech to measure and fit a barrel to...

.224 and .257 are pure slug shooters and wouldn't group pellets worth a darn....but I'm sure you knew that already. Not sure I want to do something this specialized as marketability would be near non existent should those stating interest have a change of heart. Feel free to try convincing me otherwise. :)

Not sure what the .500" breech referred to is...wouldn't think there's enough meat in the crosman steel breech to allow boring out and remaining stable....but have never tried it so????

Davio...will shoot you a pm.

Al,
Yes the Disco breech uses the rearward screw.

The .500 is the ID of the breech (1/2" ID).  It's a big bore breech form B&A and I would want a 9mm barrel with a .500 OD to fit.  And of course a .25 barrel for my Disco.

Gippeto,
Would you be providing bolts as well?
