Crosman Factory Walnut Grips?

Are the factory walnut grips (part # HB 17-017 & HB 17-018) a good upgrade?
Does anyone know what the finish of these looks like?

For around $25 bucks i am tempted to give them a try....

Right now i have the factory black plastic filled with BBs and JB weld.
They do not look bad and have a good heft to them.
If the walnut are a nicer look i could possibly afford them.

Are the grip ergonomics the same as the plastic?
If they are the ones pictured at  the custom shop they are nice.
