soooo , didn't like the laser . can't afford new prescription & glasses again just for open sights (got new prescription and new glasses earlier this year) . don't want to "co-witness" with the front sight so that leaves reflex/holographic or scope ..... and i've narrowed my choices down to these two .

the browning would have to include a dovetail to weaver adapter so the price will be similar .

so have any of you used either of these ? and what do you think of them ? what are their pros and cons compared to each other ? is there something else you recommend in the same or lower price range ?

For what gun and application?

I use the BSA Edge 2x fixed power on my CCS 2300KT with an LW barrel. Makes one-hole in the Bull at 10 meters and 1.5 holes in the Bull at 20 meters.

Unless you are bench-resting, anything more than 3x handheld is shaky at best IMO, I can't imagine trying to hold 7x still.

That reflex sight looks cool but, what's it going to be like in direct sunlight?

it started life as a 2289 . but i got wood grips and pump arm for it so it's gonna stay a pistol now . undecided on .177 or .22 and i'm thinking a 14 , 16 or maybe even 18 inch barrel ? what's the max barrel length for the monthly pistol competition here ? it's flat topped , aluminum front pump/barrel band and a few other things .
